Introducing the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Ireland - Hybrid Cloud Practice
IN THIS ARTICLE
- HPE Ireland presents its Hybrid Cloud Practice – our new industry-leading Cloud Advisory & Professional Services Business.
- How we’re helping customers and partners with their cloud transformation journey.
HPE Ireland’s newly formed Hybrid Cloud Practice has been established to assist our customers and partners in navigating their Cloud journey by providing clear thought leadership and practical assistance, backed by our Professional Services Cloud Delivery Team.
Today, more than 70% of applications and data still reside in a datacentre, not in a public cloud, and more applications and data are moving to the edge, the place where we live and work. More than 90% of enterprises are using a hybrid cloud model. Customers want the agility and simplicity of the cloud native world and the flexibility and control of a hybrid business model.
Working with our partners and customers we want to be the broker of services to their enterprise by providing access, visibility, and control so they can deliver the right as-a-service experience across all their applications and data, wherever they live.
We have helped thousands of our customers and partners worldwide in consolidating and optimising data centres, constructing private clouds, and developing roadmaps for the adoption of hybrid cloud operating models, and our Hybrid Cloud Practice brings all those elements into one dedicated service.
With our new Hybrid Cloud Practice in Ireland we can harness a global capability and experience to deliver tangible outcomes for our customers, wherever they are on their cloud transformation journey, and whatever their preference and requirements of Public, Private, Hybrid or Multi Cloud.
Getting the right cloud formula is crucial, to ensure a scalable, efficient, cost effective and secure cloud environment. Our Hybrid Cloud Practice takes a multi-faceted approach to provide a tailormade service to our customers. There are four main areas that the Hybrid Cloud Practice assists with, and customers can choose the elements that best assist them on their journey.
1 – We offer guidance and advice, introducing our customers to a ‘cloud-everywhere’ experience by helping transform their operating model.
2 – We provide assistance in maximising value by offering the best and most appropriate public cloud, on-prem, and edge technology and solutions, as well as modernising applications, ensuring the outcome aligns with our customers’ business objectives.
3 – We look to simplify our customers’ hybrid cloud operations through automation of our HPE Ezmeral software portfolio, designed to help enterprises accelerate digital transformation.
4 – We offer the option of operating our customers’ Hybrid cloud for them, allowing them to focus on more strategic areas of their business.
The Hybrid Cloud Practice is based in Leixlip Co Kildare, with professional services offered solely from Ireland, for Ireland. The team is part of HPE’s Pointnext Advisory and Professional Services Division led by Enda Cusack.
He is passionate about helping customers and partners deliver on cloud transformation, saying, “HPE’s Hybrid cloud model allows our customers & partners to architect and operate IT that takes advantage of cloud capabilities, cost, performance and agility available on-premises, on public and private cloud, and at edge. Hybrid cloud is not simply using public cloud and private cloud for your workloads. It is cloud everywhere.”
HPE’s Hybrid Cloud Practice opens up the possibilities of cloud, providing expert guidance to help customers navigate their cloud journey effectively and harness the benefits of a modern cloud that is fit for their purposes. If you’re interested in finding out more about how HPE can help you on your cloud transformation journey, contact enda.cusack@hpe.com for more information.
