Hello All,
I am facing a typical problem.
We have 2 hp-ux servers in cluster. application vg's/lv's will move from one server to another depending upon the cluster control.
Because of which there will be several bad entries in /etc/fstab or /etc/mnttab (fs which cannot be mounted).
This cause the failure of command list_expander
Therefore the make_net_recovery doesn't work.
I dont want to edit the /etc/fstab ot /etc/mnttab files as these are P1 - prod servers and lv's/vg's might move back because of cluster control.
Could anybody help me out to in resolving this situation?
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Dhruva

Re: make_net_recovery + list_expander command error in cluster environment
Hi,
# make_net_recovery -x exclude=file|directory
-x exclude=file|directory Excludes the file or directory from the archive. When a directory is specified, no files beneath that directory will be stored in the archive. If the excluded directory is an unmounted file system shown in the /etc/fstab file, a WARNING ("Filesystem xxx is not mounted. It will be ignored.") message will be displayed.
# man make_net_recovery
