EVA4400 with SQL2005 Cluster and DP6
Hi,
We have a ms cluster with sql 2005 cluster.
In the Data Protector cell manager we have added the cluster (ok the import of all components, installing locally).
When we go to add backup and select blank backup, in the next screen it always hangs on...
All the users of services (sql, dataprotector) are ok, with all the privileges etc...
any idea?, i have seen in the support matrix that cluster of sql its NOT SUPPORTED...anyone of you have installed?
thank you

Re: EVA4400 with SQL2005 Cluster and DP6
Hello,
I have the same environment only that I don´t have a cluster but other is the same, in the past had the a problem with DP6, which cannot install correctly the the sql agent over sql2005 server and can correct this problem througth apply the patches
1.- DPWIN_00349.EXE
Is not necesary restart
2.- DPWIN_00380.EXE
Is not necesary restart
This patches fix some compatibility problems with sql 2005.
Please see the information on the patches documents.
Good luck
