SecurePath and Shadow Copy

I recently implemented XP1024 array and attached Win03 Server to it. I use SecurePath to hide dual paths. I notice that when trying to implement Shadow Copy service, it fails. The reason it fails is that, it is trying to create shadow copy of the volume that does not exist. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can make shadow copy when volume is online.
You need to check the copy volume status.
