Sendmail Query
I am using sendmail on one of my Server ABC to forward mail to the exchange Server, from where the mails are further routed.
Now I want to configure another Server XYZ to send mail to the Server ABC from where the mails should be forwarded to the exchange Server
The purpose of having this is because I dont want to enable sendmail daemon on Server XYZ due to Security reasons.
How can i do this configuration ..

Re: Sendmail Query
Hello raiden,
Why forward and forward and again forward an email through three servers?
> due to Security reasons
For the same reason, I would re-consider this setup.

Re: Sendmail Query
Shalom,
To have outbound email on any server, you need not configure sendmail daemon, which primarily exists to receive inbound mail.
Try writing a cron job that executes sendmail -q once in a while. This will process outbound mail, get it off the server to the relay server and not expose the system to inbound mail.
