Network simulator recommendation for testing new layout
Our company has a single address range that all the servers and desktops use. This is all connected by switches in a tree structure so 2 main switches between the server rooms connect and from them are links to 2-3 cabinets in each building and a few switches off each of those to serve the floors. We recently had a consultancy company in which advised us that we should have our servers and hosts on a different subnet to our desktops and use L3 devices to route between them https://19216801.onl/. They also suggested using a spanning tree layout. This should be do able with our current equipment, we use Dlink switches and a handful of them have L3 features. We're still waiting to get the report from them but I'm guessing when we do those suggestions will both be in there and I'll be asked to start working on implementing them. With that in mind I wanted to get a head start and start testing how to implement something like this as I've never had to do it from scratch. I've been looking for a network simulator to play around with and get my head around the concepts involved. I've looked at this page http://www.brianlinkletter.com/open-source-network-simulators/ and have so far played around with Marionnet, Imunes and Eve-NG. I liked Imunes and Marionnet but they seemed quite simplistic, I couldn't see any way of adding VLans or making many configurations to the switches. I've only dabbled on eve-ng this morning and it seems promising so far but I'm not sure if it's going to be overkill for what I want, although I could do with working on something like this more to improve my ability. Are there any other simulators out there that aren't mentioned on this page you'd recommend or is there one on there that would be fitting for learning about implementing a spanning tree network and multiple subnets? Thanks in advance, I appreciate any and all advice!

Re: Network simulator recommendation for testing new layout
Hello,
For comware switches you can use H3C Cloud Lab (HCL) simulator.

And try for below link for ArubaOS-CX device:

Thanks!
