generating Itanium code on IA32

Hi,

I am new to windows developement environment. I have Intel C++ Compiler 8.0 (trial downloaded from the Intel website - file w_ccx_p_8.0.040.exe, which includes the compiler for Itanium binary output that runs on either IA32 or Itanium)

I installed it on my IA32 system but I am unable to compile a "hello world" program.
What could be the problem.
