Tape to tape copy over network

Hi All,
Can anybody help me in copying the contents of one LTO tape in one host to another LTO tape in a different host ,provided I should not use a disk space (File system) in between.
Please help me by giving the commands also.

Try with:


dd if=/dev/tape/tapec bs= | rsh remotehost of=/dev/tape/tapec bs=

Where block_size should match the bock size used in your backup command. And your tape device (if Tru64 5.1)
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
