include mailertable macro in sendmail.cf

Am I missing something here? I am new to Tru64's and we are trying to stick with the builds provided by HP. Running 5.1B sendmail 8.13

in normal sendmail implementations, you simply add the mailertable feature to the mc file, but i cant seem to figure this out with the .pd and mailsetup. is there a default mc that is read for options? i tried updating cf/cf/ship-osf1.mc without luck. ANY hints would be greatly appreciated, for adding the mailertable macro, as well as other "non standard" macros.
