PCM+ and Windows 2012
Hi,
I need to move PCM+ from my old server to my new one. The new one is running Windows 2012. Will it work on there?
Best wishes
Michael

Re: PCM+ and Windows 2012
Under the tab “Features” there is a section on recommended software:
Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003 Enterprise Edition SP2 (32-bit)
Microsoft® Windows® Server 2008 (32-bit or 64-bit) Standard or Enterprise Edition
Microsoft® Windows® Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) Standard or Enterprise Edition
Microsoft® Windows® 7 (32-bit or 64-bit) Professional or Ultimate
So no, it’s not supported on Windows 2012. When you install you will get Java errors at the beginning. Windows 8 is also not supported and there will be no more updates on PCM to make it supportable on either of them..
