Re: How to check SPP version installed?
Greetings!
You can view the HP SPP version information in the Start.htm file in a web browser. The file is in the root directory of the HP SPP.
More information please refer to HP Service Pack for ProLiant Quick Start Guide Page # 21:
https://www.nuttycloud.com/check-psp-or-spp-installed-version-on-hp-servers/
I hope you find this information helpful.
Regards,
Renji V

Re: How to check SPP version installed?
I assume you asked for the installed components?
There is IMHO no easy and short answer.
SPP is (and PSP was) a collection of software and firmware bundles.
Even if this is not recommended at all, you can install just a few components of a single SPP, let's say this time the BIOS, from the next SPP you install ACU, from the next SMH and finally the brand new ILO version not contained in any SPP yet.
What SPP is installed now? None? All?
I would run an inventory based on the current SPP against the server and you can tell if you are curent or not.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: How to check SPP version installed?
RIght way to check the SPP in the server is:-
-> Download HPE Windows Data Collection Tool depending on your server compatiility(will be of only 5 mb ).
You can download above mentioned tool from (http://hpsreports.glb.itcs.hpe.com/HPSreports/)
-> Run HPE Windows Data Collection Tool(HPSreports) on your server.
-> This will create a (.cab) file in a folder in a server. This folder will automatically popup once the report is generated on the location.
-> If a (yes/no) promt comes in between while running the tool. Answer it carefully(Maximum times you will have to write (Y) until and unless its asking for a big request like reboot).
-> This (.cab)file is just like a zip file. Inside this you can check the SPP version of the server.
-> Or you can get this (.cab) file checked from your vendor(HP or some other) by sharing this (.cab) file on thier FTP site o by giving remote session.
Please note:- "Above case is only for HP Windows server "
