ILO2 Version Script with Powershell and API
Hello Experts,
I am planning to Turn Off and Turn On the Hp ILO 2 Version boxes in our enviorment remotely.I am planning to exceute this operation through script from windows enviroment.I have gone through the document provided by HP and found that there are two ways one is using SSH and another is using RIBCL xml commands. But as SSH is not native to Windows we require a software like plink.exe and for RIBCL commands we require a software provided by HP.
Iam planning to eliminate the exe dependency and planning to execute these operations using an API and powershell.
Please advise if there is any method through which we can perrom this operation without relying on .exe file
Thank you,
Raghu

Re: ILO2 Version Script with Powershell and API
You can use PoweShell iLO cmdlets for iLO 3 and 4 to trun on/off devices and other iLO configurations.
But these powershell cmdlets does not support for iLO 2.
I am afraid we don't have any other option other than using HP RIBCL tool to change the settings for iLO2.
Thanks,
