Creating a 10TB array.

I have a Reliant Server with a 6402 Controller in and I want to create a 10 TB array with a Promise Drive cage. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? I read the spec on the controller and it has a 2TB volume limit. Just curious if this is the case and I need to buy a new controller.
