Smart Array 5i or Smart Array 532

We have a server ml370 g2 with 4 disks in RAID 5. Although the server has Smart Array 5i integrated in the motherboard, the array of disks are connected to the a controller SmartArray 532i, this controller are inserted in a PCI hotplug expansion slot 1 (64-bit/66-Mhz) . My question is:
which is the better option ( speed, robustness, and so on) of connection of the system of disks, the current,connected to 532i, or the of connect directly to the motherboard?
