Virtual Floppy control from DOS command line

Is there any way, from a DOS command line, to upload a diskette image to a virtual floppy on a RILOE (1, 2, or integrated)?

I know the floppy status can be controlled with VFLOP.EXE in the SmartStart Scripting tools, but there doesn't seem to be any way to upload an image.

One of the options in CPQLOCFG.EXE allows you to upload a new firmware, but i didn't see any reference to uploading a diskette image.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

You can do it with the lights out cofiguration utility available at http://h18013.www1.hp.com/support/files/lights-out/us/download/19965.html using the attached XML file.

Re: Virtual Floppy control from DOS command line

Ken,

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, the CPQLOCFG.EXE utility doesn't work in a DOS environment. I'm using a DOS boot disk created from Windows 98.

Are there any other options? I've been trying to determine if I can create a Windows 98 32-bit boot disk, running Windows 98 from a floppy, with a minimal console environment, so i can run CPQLOCFG. I would be running it from a PXE boot file, so I have 2.88 MB to work with, but I think I might be chasing the proverbial wild goose.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul
