We have some rx integrity server .Today one power supply failed in one rx3600 server.but we received no trap in hp sim 5.3 installed in windows 2003.server shows as managed in sim.
What I need to do so that i can receive hardware failure trap e.g. smps failure in hp sim for rx integrity server
Thanks

Re: Integrity server trap
follow the below steps
Sign into HP SIM through your browser. You must have rights to add systems.
1. Add the WBEM credentials to the global protocol settings. Select Optionsâ ¢Securityâ ¢Global Protocol Settings, and add the root/password credentials under the WBEM settings section.
2. Discover the systems. Select Optionsâ ¢Discovery, and select Manual Discovery.
Add the system name (fully qualified DNS name is best).
(Optional) Verify that HP SIM has correctly discovered the system.
The simple way to do this is to type the name of the system into the Search panel and click Search. When the search completes, select the system and then select Properties from the menu (select Toolsâ ¢System Informationâ ¢Properties), and then click Run Now.
The resulting page includes data that is only retrieved through WBEM.
3. Subscribe for SNMP Traps.
Select Optionsâ ¢Eventsâ ¢ SNP traps, and then click Run Now. The task starts and should complete with no errors.
Thanks

Re: Integrity server trap
Yes it gave error in manage communication,I repaired it as per instruction and everything repaired successfully,I have deleted and discovered the system again, now it is showing no error in manage comm.In ID,EVT and run tool tab it is showing positive messages.
Now two questions
Hardware status is showing normal even when one of the Power supply is down in this rx 3600 server,I have status polled this server
Second,Will I get the trap after installing second power supply in server or do I have to do something more for this
Thanks

Re: Integrity server trap
You should be getting the event for Power Supply Insertion as well.
Please the MP System event logs also.
MP> CM > SL>
select live events here and then insert you Power supply cable.
Thanks
