UUID not unique or not Configured on server

Hello,

When I try to discover all my servers (1500) some servers associated with the wrong name or the wrong IP.

Several of my servers have the same UUID: 33221100-5544-7766-8899-AABBCCDDEEFF

find with: wmic csproduct get UUID

how I can configure HP SIM to use the serial number instead of UUID to identify a system?

My servers are HP ML110 G6. I try to find a solution to change the UUID ..... but without success. I have not yet tried the bios available at startup because it is not possible. All my servers are in production of 1,500 remote sites.

Anyone has had this problem?

Thank you for your help.

Re: UUID not unique or not Configured on server

Hello,

The UUID is the way SIM uses to link the ILO  to the server and as far as I know can not be change to use the serial instead. You need to regenerate your UUID on the affected servers, a how to can be found in the onon hp link below.

Kind regards,
