more on email notifications

I want to set up an automatic email notification when a hard drive fails on one of my managed servers. But I dont want to be notified of any unnecessary notices. I have a notice sent to me when someone logs on and off to SIM as a test and it works, but i cant figure out what im doing wrong to set up notices from my managed servers. Can someone provide me a quick run down. Thanks.

Hi,

From Automatic Event Handling - Create a task for ex. "Harddrives" choose servers you would like it to monitor and then from event type choose "ProLiant Storage Events".

This should help you monitor your hardrives more in depth.
