Re: Faild to detect a supported SATA RAID Controller
Hi Zuhair,
Has the firmware of the RAID controller been updated? It should be at 4.2.0(7244), updating beyond this revision will cause issues. See this during the boot sequence.
The recovery DVD is trying to test the alarm on the card and getting a failing return code.
What options are you getting from HP support?

Re: Faild to detect a supported SATA RAID Controller
Hi,
We are having the exact same problem.
We have checked and we have the correct firmware on the raid controller.
Is there a newwer version of the DVD in the pipeline?
I cannot beleive we have been supplied with a Quick Restore DVD that doesn't work.
Regards,
Chris.
