Hello, we have incorrectly disconnected the physical volume from the HP-UX system.
Now sam utility shows the warning in Disk and File System section:
"...SAM has determined that this hardware path is not currently active because either the device is disconnected, or this is not the primary path to a multiple path physical volume. This results in incorrect disk utilization information in the Disk Devices and Volume Group lists."
And also sam is hung trying to retrive the file system information.
The question is how can we renew volume information in the system?

Option 1:Put the disk back.
Option 2:
mv /etc/lvmtab /etc/lvmtab.save
vgscan -a
SEP
Option 1:Put the disk back.

Re: Incorrect disk utilization information
Check what ioscan reports
if the disk is used by vxvm you can offline the disk with vxdiskadm command
