memory is not visible at OS level.
Dear experts,
Here i got some strage kind of thing. I checked on server with stm and found 32gigs memory available on the server but with top, i can see only 8gigs. Can you please help me with finding those lost memory and whats the probable cause of it?
Total Configured Memory : 32768 MB
Page Size: 4096 Bytes
Memory interleaving is supported on this machine and is ON.

There is no issues with your system. The 8G you mentioned is the memory used by "user processes" and not the physical memory size.
top reports the virtual and real memory "used by user processes(with the amount of memory considered 'active' in paranthesis) and the amount of free memory".
If you want to see the physical memory size from OS, use one of the following.
ia_64(Integrity Servers)
#machinfo
PA-RISC & ia_64 servers
#print_manifest (please find the location and execute, normally under /opt/ignite/bin)

can someone please let us know why this is not showing in other commands and not available to system/application?
one more thing, we have RP4400 model. can someone please tell me, how may internal disk we can add to it?

Can you share the output of swapinfo -tam and uname -m ?

The rp4440 can have 2 internal disks.
