mraidnt Event log Error message
I'm receiving the following NT System Event Error message on an HP LXR Pro:
Sys: E 'Tue Aug 13 15:36:44 2002': mraidnt - " The device, _Device_ScsiPort2, did not respond within the timeout period. "
I have 2 mraidnt Controllers and the Controller Firmware is A.03.00
The message may be nothing to worry about, but it is showing up on our monitoring software and I want to make sure. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: mraidnt Event log Error message
hi,
first you have to see on the control panel under scsi card what is the SCSIPort2, it may be one of the netraid, but may also be one of the integrated scsi channel,
when you know which is the controlle, if it is the netraid, start the netraid assistant and check the event log of each disk or check if one disk is in "Fail" status. I the scsiport2 is related to integrated HBA, chek if you have some bad cartridge loaded when you receive the error message
bye
