Software installation
I noticed that RPM is installed on the 1100 but I also read that HP did alot of changing to linux when they wrote it for thier machines. Am I probably correct in assuming it would be best to use tar.gz source files instead of RPM files to add and upgrade software?
Has anyone successfully installed TCL/TK?
Also has openssh2.x that comes with the 1100 been cracked? If so, would upgrading to openssh3.x
cause any problems?
thanks
dave
