Re: Nimble login as root
Hi,
Root login is available only for the Nimble support. “nsupport” is the user who will have complete root access to the array but is limited to Nimble support team.
While I am an HPE Employee, all of my comments (whether noted or not), are my own and are not any official representation of the company

Re: Nimble login as root
Sorry to comment on an old thread. But as the AF7000 is EOL and support is no longer given for this product that we bought and own. How do we get root access to it?

Re: Nimble login as root
Hi micedwa2,
Root access is typically protected to prevent unauthorized changes and maintain the security and stability of your HPE Nimble AF7000 device.
If you have valid reasons for needing root access to your HPE Nimble AF7000, It is recommended to reach out to HPE Tech support or HPE Nimble support to guide managing your end-of-life devices.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Satish
