Increase Nimble data store over 2 TB with plugin on ESXi 5.1

I am using the vSphere Web Client Version 6.0.0 Build 3271482 and ESXi 5.1 host with the Nimble plugin.  I want to know if I can increase the size to 2.5TB on a VMFS5 volume.

No, as the maximum VMFS size for ESX 5.1 is 2TB.
