Restricting which iSCSI Adapters Are Used With vCenter Plugin

I like the improvements to the new volume wizard for the vcenter plugin.

but I still have the issue of every isci adapter being added to the new initiator group.

We use CNA adapters so their is a "physical" isci adapter and a software vware isci adapter for each of my host, each host has two dual port cards.

These "physical" isci adapters are not configured because at some point I was told to use the vmware software adapter with nimble.

Is there anyway to restrict which isci adapters get added when creating a new store, it would be great to be able to use an existing initiator group.

thanks,jb

Hi Jason,

I hope you are well. I believe as long as the individual ports are not associated to the data network IP scheme or iscsi vswitch then you would be ok. Let me know if this helps. Thanks!
