Colorado Backup
I previously purchased an HP Colorado Backup to take care of my Win95 backups. When I upgraded to Win98, HP wanted $30 to allow me to use it with Win98. In preference to paying the $30, like a chump, I purchased a Colorado Backup II (8GB) to backup my critical files. Recently when I upgraded to WinME, and I discovered that the Colorado Backup II would not work. Sure as shooting, when I went to the HP site, the not only told me they were out of the Colorado Backup manufacturing business, but that I would have to pay another $30 to conquer the compatiability problem.

I can certainly understand your frustration, but I do suggest that you post this in the Storage - Tape Backup section of these Business Customer Discussion Groups. Someone there may have a suggestion for you. Here is a link to the home page of these forums:
