RAID 0 Backup

I have been unable to find information on backing up my new Pavilion m7680n Duo Core Media Center TV PC when configured for RAID 0. Techs are telling me to just backup like anything else, but it seems to me that the RAID 0 configuration would be lost that way and I suspect they just don't know. I suspect each drive in the configuration needs to be backed up separately to their own drive or at least to a separate partition. Does anyone have any solid advice? I need someone who KNOWS.
