RDX Disk detects as RAW
New client has existing RDX drives and 320GB cartridges. Bought 4 new 500GB cartridges to use. Having detection issues with new cartridges on 2 different RDX drives. One time you plug them in and they detect as normal 500GB NTFS drives. Insert a different cartridge, or eject/insert, original cartridge and it doesn't detect in Windoows Explorer. In Disk management it shows as RAW. Unplug drive USB and replug and now same disk shows as NTFS. Sometimes the cartridge will show as NTFS but asked to be Scanned and Fixed. Perform task and it says no errors found. This is random and affects all 4 drives using either one of 2 drives. The solution is being used as an onsite backup. One 500GB cartridge for Daily's and one for Weekly done on Friday only; so requires changing cartridge once a week. Anyone run across this or have a solution?
