Re: converting word documents
When you install Office 2000 (Word 2000), the "wizard" selectively installs a portion of the software from the CD. There are many translators/converters that do not get installed by default. If you run Word/Office 2000 setup and choose CUSTOM installation, you'll be able to activate the converter for Word 3.x-5.x for DOS which should allow you to read those files from Word 2000 as well as save documents created in Word 2000 as Word 5 for DOS documents. Good luck!
Make a great day!
