cpu 100%

I have the same problem as the message above. I find explorer.exe at 99% of CPU and sometimes the same with other applications such as Easy CD Creator. I also have McAfee viruscan and firewall and hence CPD.exe.

The 100% seems to trigger 'sometimes' whenever a directory or file is accessed - by mouse click or side bar in explorer or in the file list within an application.

If the system is left a while (say 10 minutes) sometimes the CPU usage returns to normal but not always. Often a restart is the only resolution.

Anyone else found this and know the fix?
