Exchange 5.5 Cluster- - Performance Optimizer
Hello everybody,
I have a W2K cluster with Exchange 5.5 installed. I have noticed that, since some months ago, its performance is worse; I have discovered that its registry parameters are configured for 500 mailboxs (as the moment it was installed), but now it has grown a lot and it has more than 3000 mailboxes. Microsoft recommends running Performance Optimizer when the number of mailboxes grows a lot, but I can??t find anything about how to do it in a w2k cluster enviroment. The only article I find is Q278464,
, which is for Nt 4.0 and requires to delete the MCSC folder....this sounds to me very suspicious......Can you explain it to me??Do you know this procedure?? Have you ever done it? Would I have any problem with windows 2000 cluster instead of Windows Nt cluster??
Thank you very much for your help, I need an answer quickly.
