fds file error

Hi
After i installed anti virus software (AGV Version 6 ) i get a message saying fds file error when ever i go to open outlook or any other application can any one please advise me on this.

Hi Simon
Witch OS are you running? And witch version of AVG core?
I've got a message like that when I tried to install an AVG version prior to the one released for that version.
Have you take a look in http://www.grisoft.com/html/compatible.php?session=4f3106882051aff9ef7a2a7d5eb06ca9 and checked if you're using the right one?
