VB automation error

I have an Excel based application having macros written in VB. It was working fine but now when I start my application it gives the following error.

Compile error: Automation error

Please let me know what is the problem.

If it just started this month there may be a bug in the code that handles the transistion from 12 to 1.

Have you installed any upgrades?

Could you have a macro virus?

If you want to post the program as an attachment or send it to me directly (rkinner AT att DOT net) I'll be glad to look at it.
