WINDOWS XP

I just loaded Windows XP on my computer and when I tried to load the software for my CD Writer Plus 7500 series CD-RW, I got an error "Cannot locate suitable IDE Controller" How do I fix this?

Hi,
You have to check whether the software is compatible with XP! First you check whether your cd-writer working as cd-drive from xp by reading any cd. Then you download "HP Record Now" from hp site and install. The below link will teke you there.
