Windows98 - MS Access 2000
Yet if I go to any of our other 50 or so Win98 workstations in the office I can import or link the exact same files into Access 2000 with no problems or errors.
I'm wondering if I've installed some software that's conflicing with Access? I've tried removing it and reinstalling, but I'm still getting the same errors. I've even tried copying the DBF files from the server directly to my c:\ drive to see if that made any difference but still no change.
Any suggestions anyone?

Re: Windows98 - MS Access 2000
Do you mean that in W98/Access2000 wkst group A you can import foxpro5 dbf files, and in W98/Access2000 wkst group B you cannot import exactly the same files?
If so, the problem should be in Access installation on wkst group B.
Have you configured ODBC for Visual FoxPro? In any of the groups? Or is it by default?
Maybe you can try to uninstall Access2000, make syre that the ODBC for FoxPro is removed, and install Access again. And I would give a close look into any ODBC diferences between a wkst that can import and another one that cannot.
Keep us updated.
