AH388A

The Blade BL890 uses an AH339-6918A processor. Can I put in a generic intel CPU instead of the HP one ?

The processor supported with Bl890i are :

Intel® Itanium® Processor 9320 (Quad-Core 1.33 GHz, 16MB L3 cache; up to 1.46 GHz with Turbo)

Intel® Itanium® Processor 9340 (Quad-Core 1.6 GHz, 20MB L3 cache; up to 1.73 GHz with Turbo)

Intel® Itanium® Processor 9350 (Quad-Core 1.73 GHz, 24MB L3 cache; up to 1.86 GHz with Turbo)

This is a BL890c i2 using the Intel Itanium quad core CPU (Tukwila). No other Intel CPU will work. See post above.
