BL685 G7

It appears the BL685 G7 is not listed on the VMWare vSphere compatibility matrixes.

HP Presales have confirmed that it is not supported!

Im surprised it has been released without support. (I also cant see it listed on the MS Server catalog).

Does anyone have any more info?

Hi.

The model has probably not been tested yet. I'm pretty sure that it will pass certification when vmware or who ever it is that does the tests have time to test it.

The DL585 G7 server is in the vmware compability guide and it's using the same CPU architecture (AMD Opteron 61XX-series)
