Blade Server Bonding Interface Cannot Ping Bay Devices ILO Addresses
Hi
I have a configuration where my Blade Servers in Enclosure C7000 are configured as bonding interfaces on vlan 10 and vlan 11. The IP ranges for these vlans are 172.31.11.0/24 for vlan10 and 172.31.12.0/24 for vlan11. The ILOs in Devices Bays are configured with other IP Network Number 172.31.16.0/23.
I have in total four different enclosures where all servers are configured as bonded interfaces but ILOs are configured from 172.31.16.0/23 network number.
Now hte problem which i am facing is that each enclosure is unable to ping its local Bay Devices ILO IP Addresses while it is able to ping the IP Addresses of the Bay Devices of all other Enclosures.
Due to some advance configurations related to Clustering, we need each server in enclosure must be able to ping its Server ILO Address.
Can someone have any idea how this issue can be resolved.
Thanks in advance for answer.
With Best Regards
