Re: Blade server qlogic HBA
You can change the connection option as Point-to-Point Mode (i.e Fabric Mode ) in the Extended Firmware Settings option of Fast!UTIL.
The Fast!UTIL could be accessed using when you boot the server.
Refer the Qlogic Card User Guide for details.
For qla2300, the guide is at
http://www.ncsa.uiuc.edu/~aloftus/FibreChannel/Qlogic/qla2300_userguide.pdf
Please refer your profile at
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/publicProfile.do?userId=CA610806&forumId=1
which says "I have assigned points to 315 of 974 responses to my questions."
This is not good. Take some time to assign points to the replies of your questions depending on how there were helpful to you to resolve the problems. You would also get fast and more replies if you keep up with assigning points.
