Configuring Qlogic HBA from script

Hi

I am trying to find a way to configure my HBA with a RDP or linux script. I have looked at the SSST stuff and it does let me read/write some of the parameters, but I would like to set the "connection option {?!)" to point-to-point (1) and the tool hpqlarep doesn't seem to allow that

Thanks
Alex

Yep ...waiting for that option too, we are using virtual connect modules and this "connection option" setting in qlogic BIOS is pure pain in the ass when using RHEL4

Interesting, we are using virtual connect as well.

Finding you have to do a lot more prep in the qlogic card to make it rip and replace :)

Yep .. I think they just forgot to put an option to vc manager where you could change that. It is ridicilous that there is a FC-loop as default option. Switched fabric is the modern way to go.

Have you guys tried with "SANsurfer CLI"? Download it from the QLogic page.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
