Hi, how has this model fair against other more expensive models and competitors?

Against competitors i belive they are equal amongst all. They all use almost the same hardware so the preformance is marginal.

Against the Expensive models depends on what your after. This model has no hotswap disks. And is limited to raid 0 or 1. There are some features this model doesn't support compared to for example bl460c G6
