HP SPP does not detect correct Windows drivers
I am booting from the SPP 2013.09.0(B) ISO to update firmware on a BL460c G7 running Windows Server 2008 R2. When I run through the wizard, it detects the server 'type' as Linux and not Windows. When it continues, it lists the Linux drivers to install, rather than the ones required for this Windows server. Is this a known issue, or am I missing something ?

Re: HP SPP does not detect correct Windows drivers
If you boot the SPP, it runs linux from the CD.
The screen will list FIRMWARE to update, if you see linux DRIVERS, ignore them.
To update drivers, start HPSUM from running windows!
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
