Incorrect processor speed showing
I look after 2,500 BL2x220 servers and another 1,000 more to come. While I have reporting sent to me twice a day I seem to get a incorrect processor speed show up. If I log into the OA and iLO they both show up with the following:
Proc 1:
2000 MHz
Execution technology:
4/4 cores; 4 maximum threads
Memory technology:
64-bit capable
Processor 1 Internal L1 Cache:
128 KB
Processor 1 Internal L2 Cache:
12288 KB
Processor 1 Internal L3 Cache:
0 KB
Proc 2:
2500 MHz
Execution technology:
4/4 cores; 4 maximum threads
Memory technology:
64-bit capable
Processor 2 Internal L1 Cache:
128 KB
Processor 2 Internal L2 Cache:
12288 KB
Processor 2 Internal L3 Cache:
0 KB
When I check the Bios it says the processors are fine and both show 2500MHz.
I have tried to reset the iLO and have all firmware up to date. Checked and reseated the proc also.
We are running ubuntu.
Any help to resolve this would be great.
