Hi All,

I want to deploy office 2007 and service pack 2 for windows server 2003 using RDP powered by Altiris deployment pack on blade server 460c how could I do it.

Hello Ather,

I don't think that alone can be done, using the Create JOB option.

Once u have installed all the necessary softwares on an server, take an image of the same using RDP & deploy it to others.

Unless someone else has a brilliant idea !!

well ..the SP2 part could go with a job which copies the SP2.exe file to 460c server and launches the install command from command line with silent options + reboot.

With office it could go like this ..
rdp job runs a script in 460c which connects to \\server\share and launces office setup, there must be somekind of automation in office setup so it would go unattended.
