Need Rapid Deployment Pack(RDP) job/script for VSphere installation?
Michael had a customer looking for an Rapid Deployment Pack (RDP) script for a vSphere install. Here was his question:
I have a customer looking for a sample RDP script that will install VSphere on his blade system. Does HP have a repository he can access for RDP jobs?
I am aware of this site but it didn't have what we needed: http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/rdp/knowledgebase/index.html
Winston and Lee answered:
Please correct me if I am wrong. I think the standard install of the current RDP version should include a sample script to install VSphere.
Either use RDP 6.0 or 3.83 with the ESX Supplement for the vSphere jobs
Let me know if this helps or you have other solutions that work.
