OA Module

Hi

 

I want to ask when i connect iLO port in OA Module to exsting cisco switch so that i can access remotely, and i gave OA IP from subnet VLAN 4, should i assign vlan 4 to iLO port from OA GUI, or from cisco switch port ?

Hi faziz

 

There is no "right" answer to this although best practice dictates that you should always have the iLO's in a contiguous range (in a management VLAN if you have one) so to ensure that, then you should provide the IP Addresses via the OA then you know what IP Address is assigned to which Bay of the Blade Chassis.
