security switch/ ILO2 / BL680 G5
I noticed the following error when I tried to upgrade ILO2 again, the questions are
a. is unsetting the security switch the only solution to fix the problem? (obviously, I could have replaced the motherboard :-(, but I like to avoid opening the box if I can.)
b. Does anyone know where I can find the document on (un)setting the security switch? where is the switch?
the following is the error message ...

Re: security switch/ ILO2 / BL680 G5
Look for the "System Maintenance Switch" it will be labeled on the back of the hood.
Turn on iLO2 security override switch.

Re: security switch/ ILO2 / BL680 G5
I managed to turn on the security switch, put back the blade. But now it didn't come up, it detected a firmware error with the ILO.
I finally have the system board replaced.

Re: security switch/ ILO2 / BL680 G5
The script unpacks, attemps to install, get the "ERROR: iLO 2 security override switch isn't set" and deletes the temp extract dir.
I'd like to get the bin and upload it via the ILO2 web url.

Re: security switch/ ILO2 / BL680 G5
I had also same problem on ProLiant DL380 G6 server(installed ESX 4.0)
I had resolved this by :
1.Extract cp011095.scexe by issuing command sh cp011095.scexe --unpack=directory
2.It will geretare one .bin file inside your target folder.
3.Goto Administration tab in your iLO page.
4. Browse your .bin fine you extract in step- 1 and press Save firmware Image.
