ACL Question
I am new to the world of HP networking... I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but I have a general question about ACL's.
I'm using a procurve router on a bonded T1 connection. the T1s (ppp 1) are my WAN and Eth0/0 is my LAN.
I am trying to setup an access list on my WAN interface to block all traffic to my router, and allow access to the rest of my subnet.
IE:
LAN (eth 0/0) IP: 1.1.1.1 (28 bit netmask)
WAN (ppp 1) IP: 2.2.2.1 (30 bit netmask)
How do i prevent access to my router from any source on the WAN, while allowing
1: inbound traffic to the rest of my subnet
2. outbound traffic from the entire range
Thank you in advance,
Chris

Re: ACL Question
log in to the web gui, select 'firewall' then 'firewall wizard' and follow the promts. so long as you know what you want to allow and block it shouldn't take long ;)
