bandwidth

I have basic question.

In the wireless devices the bandwidth, is share (11 mb ) o all devices connect for example to access point have 11 mb, if have 6 computers connect to them.

Hi

Yes Wireless bandwidth is shared between the Clients, thats why they recommend not more than 25-30 user per Access Point for the 802.11g.

And its actually the second challenge when designing a wireless solution after the Wireless Coverage area.

hi Isaac,

you should also think in terms of usage, because if you AP clients will only be using the AP for internet access, they won't consume that much bandwidth, but if they will be sending/receiving files from other internal network location, they will use a lot more bandwidth, and so, the connection will become sutured a lot faster, and you will have to remove some users, or add another AP
